My 98 Civic Ex....ongoing process

Hey guys I'm new around here, I drive a white 1998 Civic Ex...its a work in progress at the moment as you can see but slowly i hope to make her nice....currently its broken down for the 2nd time this month. Its pretty much bone stock minus a few ricer mods (intake and exhaust) haha....heres a few picture of it...hate on...
Pretty much how it was when i first got it (minus black housing headlights)

Got some fat fives for it for real cheap

Threw a front lip on it

And thats how it pretty much is still sittin today

welcome to clubcivic!! you've definately cleaned her up, she keeps looking better and better!! imho, though, i think your front plate would look better center mounted, but that's just my personal tastes. good job, keep it up.

btw, why isn't she running? maybe we can help you solve the issue.

ive had some real shitty luck with my car in the past month to say the least haha....first i somehow put an axel through my transmission housing? therefore having to replace tranny axles and apparently the clutch was going to....then probably about 2 weeks ago...i was driving home from school and my motor starting making a real bad knocking noise and i think i threw a rod.....and to top it all off while it was sitting outside my apartment broken down someone smashed out my drivers side window....took my air/fuel ratio and boost guage out of it....the faceplate of my cd player?(only the face plate) and my xm radio.....lots of money in repairs id say....

well i bought it like 4-5 months ago and it had a completely rebuilt motor with 12-13k miles on it...which is what really pisses me off about the whole blown motor deal now....and i kinda agree and have been thinkin about movin my plate back to the middle....a buddy had a relocator and just kinda did it one night...oh well

if the rod and crank are ok, probable just bearings. First you will need to find out what caused this an fix it.

shhhhhh! its rattlecanned haha....and pretty banged up from a little curb incident i had haha....but hey thanks a lot for all the positive comments...seems like every other forum ive been on its been hate hate hate...and i think im takin her in to be fixed next week....and a guy around my area has a JRSC kit forsale for a d-series for realllllll cheap....is it worth it? ive heard pretty much all negative feed back on SC'd d's....
