I've heard Polk components fit great and sound great, but what's are the highest quality components that don't cost OOONEE BIIILLLIIOONNN DOLLARRSSS? :twisted:

Infinity Kappa's or Alpine type R's or type X's, depending on the amp.
However, the answer to this question is highly subject. There are a few other good quality brands out there.

those are entry level..

op high quality brands to look into are..hertz..cdt..image dynamics..rainbow..focal..

but boston is tops

Well I Would say probably Alpine type R or Rockford Fosgate Power series Speakers.. They are fairly affordable and sound quite nice. Image Dynamics Hasn't impressed me as of late.

CDT isn't that expensive. There was a guy on ebay, Woofersetc I think, that was selling their entry level 6.5" and 1" tweeters for ~$100.

From what I hear, that's got the best bang for the buck, sound quality wise.

I'm actually a huge fan of either Alpine type r or inifnity component sets.

He did say highest quality..op look into the phoenix gold rsd..best bang for the buck component speaker on the market now..

personally, i think that the infinity reference sounds better than the more expensive kappa counterparts.
