If you are planning on tuning the car yourself. I would check out the NepTune RTP system. It is cheaper and has all the features and more of the S300.

Short answer no. I'm not at all familiar with hondata, but if its anything like crome it must be programmed to the engine its running on. If that hondata ecu was programmed for a b18 and your using it on an h22 its not gonna run correctly. I would just use the chipped p28, and get a map for an h22 if possible. Worst case scenario, you'll get the hondata ecu and have someone tune it for your h22.

The short answer is Yes.

The hondata S300 in a P28 can run any distributor equiped, 2 wire iacv, MPFI honda vehicle.

So that basically covers anything from about 1988 to 00.

Hondata S300 and neptune are 2 bad mofos great for tuning and cheaper than aem ems or motec stand alone system.

The p28 bis what you use to fit the obd, wiring or car you have the s300 is what is used to run the motor you are running no matter which.

And s300 is re-writeable so it don't matter if your friend had it for his b, or d series whatever you can re-program it and tune it to run with your h.

Also you don't need to be boosted or need to go turbo if you use an s300. Its for any application.
