2008: adding heated mirrors

I have a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid and would like to install heated outside mirrors.

What I'd like to do is to add the heated mirrors from you -- not the casing around them.

I did this some years ago on an Accord and connetced it to the defroster button - it worked great.

Does anyone have any instructions how to do this?

If you did it to the Accord, shouldn't it almost be the same?

I had a guy do it for me. I am an idiot in this regard.

I have someone who can do it -- but needs instructions.

Good idea, but, well ... he's gone. Moved far away.

So .... that is why I am trying it this way.
