Tell me what's going on with the fuel line leaving the Fuel Filter...
it looks like it's not properly installed, and I'm a bit concerned, looks like it's hanging on by a thread, and I wouldn't really want it to come off while driving and spew fuel all over the engine bay while you're driving it.

Like your plans for the car, I bought my car riced out as well, it's a long and tedious process my friend
GL and welcome to CC!!!

To be honest, I'm not sure why it was put like that? I don't know how Honda engine's are set up since I've never worked on one before. Is this something I should change?

Man you have a nice platform to work off of. I wish I could have got mine in that kind of condition. Nice turbo set up and killer sound system. G/L with build. i have feeling this one will be sick when it is done. Hell you can probably easily make a few grand off of all the s**t you can sell off of it
Thanks man, You really think I can sell my parts for money haha?

Hmm, judging by your old car, you must be a tall, handsome, white guy. Phone number?
I'm indian haha.... 281.330.8004 hit me up LoL.

damn you got some work ahead of you! goodluck
Thanks!

Welcome...as for the car...has some possitives and some negatives...
Thanks man
you coming down for tulip time then?
Not anymore since you put a Sharukan picture in my thread haha

Had a chance to go take some better pictures tonight. Idk, I'm in love with it as of now even though it's not the style of many around here. I think the grille is the first thing to go though. :hmm: Enjoy...(or hate lol)

Any ideas on how to fix the headliner?

You gotta good pick with the car. GL with the de-ricing. You mentioned about not putting in alot of money. Well, your car is a 96-98 model when the pic how you want it to look like is a 99-00. So, you're going to be spending alot if that's how you want it to look like.

There are alot of other pics of 96-98 cars that get this look in a way. You should do your search for one. Or, if you want to go this route of making it into a 99-00, there's alot of DIYs that will help you out on this forum especially with the front end and that will probably save you some extra bucks.

GL dude...

Well, I have no time off to work on the car other than Winter break, spring break, or summer. Winter is too cold for me to work. I know, I'd love to start it now, but just can't. Also, I'd rather save up money and do it at once instead of slowly.

I will do a search for one. Thanks, man. How much do you think I should roughly save up? I have around $500 already in my "modding fund" but I have no idea how far that will get me in the Honda modding scene. I know that is nothing when it comes to modding a benz haha.

That should be enough to get you the new front end (bumper, grill, headlights, hood). But, probably won't be without paint. Just do some searches for parts as well. The good thing about the year of our hondas is there's alot of places where you can get parts.

Oh yeah, since you're de-ricing... definitely look for OEM parts.

IMO you should have bought a stock civic, i think it could have saved you more $$$$ then work your way up rather than fixing a modified car......coz i'm pretty sure you paid $$$$ for that show car.....

but still, good luck with that prioject of yours.....

BTW nice color choice bro! White paint always gets my love 100%.....

eeek, I don't know if buying a turbo charged honda was the best idea if you don't know anything about them. I suggest you read up on them so you can fix some of the minor problems you'll encounter by yourself. GL with it man.

Anyways, car looks like it was done semi-right. Just clean up the body a bit with some used OEM parts, get different wheels, and have fun with the boosted D.

If you want to learn more about a boosted d series... hands down Turbod16.com

The people over there are way helpfull and there is a ton of information specific to the d series engine.

I currently see ebay cast manifold, wastegate, knock off HKS bov, and possible ebay turbo. Not necessarily bad, but not the best quality. I'm running the bov, and i hate it.

What are you using for fuel management, if anything? Crome, Hondata, Neptune?

Wow, that thing is rice to the max! Even if its turbo'd, id be pretty embarassed to drive it around town!

But good to hear that you are de-ricing it. All it needs is some 15" or 16" rims with OEM spec bumpers and youll be good. Also work on that interior haha. My eyes would bleed if I had to drive it like that.

I hope you didnt spend a lot on it. I know I wouldnt pay top dollar for that.

One thing I dont get is, how did ricers from 2000 and up have money to swap, spend mad cash on rice, then turbo. A lot of ricers actually had a swap or boost. People today b***h about buying $35 side markers haha.
