Took a couple shots of a very nice Ridgeline parked a few houses down the street.

All were taken with the 55-200mm(no VR ) lens was pretty happy with how most of them came out, a tripod is almost always needed with this lens I find. Especially for even the tiniest bit of a slower shutter speed.

^ i love the last pic hmmm, i use my 70-300mm CONSTANTLY, and i hardly ever use it w/ a tripod (mostly because i dont HAVE a tripod ) are you shooting on manual? if there is decent enough light out, even in the late afternoon, you should be able to set it up and still get crisp pics

That's where soft boxes comes in handy, to fill in those shadows

I wish i could use my 70-300mm but everytime i use it in the late evening, i always get blurred photos. My hands are to damn shaky!!!
