96-00 Cup Holders

I think all of us know how notoriously terrible these cup holders are.

I found that cup holder inserts from a 02 Trailblazer fit almost perfectly.

Fitment is really good for the smaller one, the bigger one is slightly too tall but still functional. I'm probably going to trim the bottom out for a perfect fit.

Alternatively, the smaller one also fits perfectly inside the original Honda insert.

No more spilled drinks!

lol nd the shyt is it spills inside the damn cupholder too not just on the floor... honda sucks for makin these got damn cup holders imma try this s**t out though go to the junk yard or somethin ... prolly customize it like dude is...

yeah i have to agree, the newer cup holders are crap too, wiith that damn pop up lid over it, it gets in the way and keeps your drink from sitting upright. so what are we honda owners to do about it? redesign it!

Thats for the 99-00 Civics. I have a 98 Civic and the only drink that would stay still is Vitamin Water or Orangina or Snapple. Bottles of water would fly out of the cup holder...

btw, whoever said the ctr cupholders work better, they don't. Ive had all three, 96-98, 99-00 and ctr and I hate them all.

haha the only cup that ever fit perfect was a mcdonalds sweet tea until one night i picked one up got home and pulled it out to find it was extremely light. so i tossed on the interior light to find that the clip on the cup holder cover put a hole in the foam cup and it had filled my cup holders and floor. lol i was pissed.
