is alpine amp known to get hot easy???

i was jamming for about 3 hours and the amp got kind hot.

I thought 800rms @ 2ohm alpine amp shouldn't have problem with my jlw6 when it only take up about 500rms at 2ohm

the gain is set between half and max,bass set at 3 barley turn up,and lp filter is at 100

also my amp is mount on the rear of my back seat.

shouldnt...had my alpine for like 4 or 5 years...mine is about the same setting but smaller...its in my trunk though, i did blow fuses once though thats the only thing...maybe return it or sumthin?

well thats bound to happen, i worked at tweeter for 3 years. it will get hot its an alpine amp, you should see the radios , those could literally catch fire.

I thought alpine are good ass company,well people told me that improper mounting will cause air flow issue could that be it??

if so where the hell imma put the amp at with it out sliding or hopping around in my trunk?

because i take corners everyday and i got coilover so my car like to bunny hope a lot.
