i am still using the 18-55 that came with my camera

Get a "Nifty Fifty" (got mine for $80 at Amazon). It is nothing great but it allows you to do some different stuff if you are bored with what you've got.

I'm not happy with this one but it shows what you can do in a dark restaurant with no flash:

ISO-1600 (It was really dark)
Shutter-1/60 (Really, really dark)
F-1.8
Rebel XSi w/ "nifty fifty" Canon EF 50mm f/1.8

I dunno, it is a 50mm lens with no IS on a 1.6x body. Also, I am shooting a moving target in that photo. It is a tough one.

Oh, and I was pretty f**ked up.

yea i just got into them recently haha. still debating on lifting it and throwing some bigger tires on it. its all stock now and hasnt seen offroad with me yet. has a little bit of rust on the frame already. plus i still have to buy another motorcycle haha.

Mine is rusty as hell on stock springs with boosters. You can go cheap and still have fun.

Basically 2" thick hockey pucks that you put over the springs to give you the clearance to stuff 33x12.50's on your TJ. It's the equivalent to cutting your springs to get lower. Jeep rice.

thats what i figured just thought they would be called something like bumpstops lol. i want to get some rims and all terrain tires for this beast but cant justify the money spent on it haha.

Heres a shoot from the other night. My friend and I wanted to get some strobist practice in so heres the result. we realized that its harder standing in front of the camera than you would think. although these came out better than i thought. very little editing was needed .
