I run Crome pro in my track car, and all of the cars I base map. As stated, Its only as good as the person tuning it. That goes with ANY EMS though.

Crome is garbage, ( in My opinion) Save up for Neptunes or S300, saves u time and money in the end. and you will get a reliable tune. All i gotta say is " you get what you pay for"

I understand that S300 has all of the presets and what not and Neptune RTP has its advantages as well but the S300 is over 500 bucks and the RTP is like 150.

Why not use something thats free and has pretty much all of the capabilities that the above listed have? Have you even used Crome?

yeah but in reality neptunes cost just as much as you would to use crome, you cant just plug in datalogging and tune out ur car, you need ostrich emulator, and tons of other unneccessary s**t, when u can spend just as much on neptunes and everything plugs in USB and its all REAL-TIME!!! Like i said u get what u pay for, as that goes for anything....turbo, mani etc.....and to correct your statement: Crome does not have the same features at S300 or RTP......and never will.....all im trying to state is Neptunes RTP is well worth the money (not bias cuz i have it) just cuz i was in the same boat using crome and in reality RTP was well worth the money in the end, with tune, and getting a decent tune to not blow my motor.....ive seen pple have great success off crome, but nothing compared to S300 or RTP......i can asure u that, and to save you money and time i would save up the extra 100 or 200 bucks to get it.......Best bang for the buck I say! Anyone else on here think otherwise????

and to my last staement, im not trying to like smash on Crome or anything, its a decent program and ive used it myself.ive also used S300 and many others, but nothing compared to RTP....im just trying to make it seem like a legitamate answer, you know you cannot just download crome and tune ur car that easily. you need license (if u want pro) emulator, burner, etc and that cost just as much as RTP would......its just common sense...

You may be right. Since I do all of my own ecu work, its much cheaper for me I guess. I have an ostrich and a HULOG from moates. All in all I still have not spent NEAR the amount of money that I would have for Hondata's S300.

I have Crome Pro and Uberdata. Both of which I have spent no money on.

well lucky you my friend......but for people who dont have it as good as you it would cost the same as getting RTP tho......So i would recomend all first timers to get RTP. best bang for buck if you ask me.........

In reality if you are just tuning your own car and it is a lower horsepower or not so big injectors crome will work out just fine.

It just gets finiky when some of the features don't work as they are stated. This makes you wonder about the rest of the program. It is obvious that features are released and in "stable" versions before they are even tested.

Which is why I don't tune with crome any more. I still tune a little with uberdata, but that is because I do a good bit of coding stuff with it so I know what works and what needs attention.

So IMO NepTune or S300 are the top two choices with the RTP being at the top of my list.
