I removed the rear seats in in the process of repairing the headliner and replacing the rear speakers. I looked down about 4 inches from the each of rear sides there are Orange Connectors. They are not connected to anything. It seems it's for some accessory, but for what? I looked all over the cheap Haines Manual but it was of no use. Perhapes I could make good use of these connections if I knew what they are for.
The Right Orange Connector: Blue/Yellow andGreen/Yellow with both having silver dash pairs.
The Left Orange Connector: Blue and Light Gray with both having silver dash pairs.

I don't think a picture would be much help...It's just a small Orange Connector with two small 18 Gauge colored wires near the sides under the rear seat...They are not made to carry any heavy current...They almost look like the stock front door speaker connectors...Courtesy lights or maybe rear side speakers?

sounds to be like what you said either some form of light or speaker wires but i cannot think what it would go for. maybe a picture would help by determining location a little bit better

Orange Connectors might be ABS Brake option?.........

It just came to me this morning. My 98 Prelude had Orange Connectors on the ABS componants. Since each these connectors are about 2 inches away from a gromets exiting the car near the front of the rear wheel wells, I bet they are for the ABS option. My sorry Haines book does not have any wiring for ABS, just talks about some trouble codes you might be able to access. If anyone can verify this ,please me know.:!:

They are for ABS. If they aren't hooked up, it means your car didn't get ABS. Honda just put them so that they didn't have manufacture two different times JUST for ABS. It was easy to just prep EVERY model.

Just makes life easier. With Honda's, just about every orange connecter is for ABS, no matter what model.
