The first time I did these I got them at Wal-Mart which no longer sells models and the local hobby shops, these three are the second time I've built each kit and I got them by trading on a model car forum. There is also a Revell 1993 Civic based off the diecast The Fast and the Furious Civics.

I think a friend of mine has a 5th gen hatch model. Not sure where he got it, I'll ask him.

I know this is an old thread, but here is my new Civic in progress. It'll be bright yellow with a grey interior.

removed the Honda badge

partial engine

kit exhuast to be replaced with aluminium tube from the y-pipe back and aftermarket muffler

Just picked up a DC2 Integra Type R kit

the plan is to paint it Championship White, grey interior, scratch built exhaust, and some JDM wheels.

im working on the 93 civic coupe and trying to get it as close to what i want mine to look like as possible, fortunately the body kit is one that actuall doesnt look to bad. one that i would actually consider if i wasnt just doing the lip. you can get them from hobbylinc.com. most of the tuner kits are revell, but tamiya would be the next manufacturer, followed by fujimi. ive got over 30 model cars ive built since i was 7. working on the 99 silverado custom right now. its got twin turbos, will have system in the bed, and a aftermarket larger engine. dont have any pics of the car but heres some of the truck.
