I'm going to see how close the local service center is. I'll try to buy one under the table but I have to feel the guy out first like a gangsterr. 
Yes, try to negotiate. mail-order s**t gets me nervous on bulbs, glass like I said. If the filament slightly gets damaged from shipping it can drastically reduce the life of the bulb...what about sneaking into Circuit City with a phillips screwdriver and getting gangsterr on their asses?

I have like four t.v.'s here at home so I didn't miss it.just wait a few weeks then go sit in front of circuit city at 3am and get a big screen LCD for like $400 lolMan...... the local places want like almost $250 for the f**king bulb!I gonna keep searching tho, thank god for google!

DAmn man, we have like an infestation the other night i let the window open and had like 20 ladybugs crawlin on my ceiling.and here a pic of the lady bug that's flying around my house right now. UPDATE......
I found a lamp here in Holland for $220 so I just might go with that one and the ladybug still lives!
