Im changing my tach... so i get in the car, i have to remove the face thing first. So i unscrew the first screw i get to the second one and its incredibly tight... im not the strongest kid in the world but i know i have the strength to unscrew a damn screw... Heres what im talking about

Thats not my Tach btw...
I can unscrew the one that is circled in red, but the other one is tight a F***!!!
I read on this one forum that i should heat up the screw... but how do i do that, i also read i should try and spray it down w/ WD40 but i think thats just going make everything messy and greesy as fukk...
i know how to unscrew screws so dont be a smart ass and say " Righty Tighty Lefty Loosey"

Any Ideas?

I cant wait till LongGrain reads this... :D :D

Longrains still banned isn't he?

just push up hard so you don't strip it and turn hard, your hands sweaty or somethin? That screw shouldn't be hard, not like it can get rusty there.

Breaker bar LMAO!

try tightening a tiny bit first, then loosening it, if not then beat the end of the screwdriver with a hammer while the screwdriver is on the screw...works for me.

I had this same problem when changing my bulbs. Good thing I had different screw drivers of different sizes. Thing is, it will start to strip. So, try and get a bigger screwdriver and that will probably grip the screw better. It is hard but slowly and surely it will grip and will come out.

You could try to use a rachet wrench with a screwdriver tip in the coupler. Dont know how stacked your tool box but if you have it try it. You will get more leverage pushing or pulling instead of twisting. I had the same issue on my guage cluster when i went to take the bulb out of the CEL.

I think im gana super glue the screw driver in the screw... and just twist my ass off and just throw away the screwdriver with the superglued screw on it... u guys and your special tools

Does anyone know how the heat method would work?

Put some grinding fluid on the tip of the screwdriver, and make sure it's the right type and size of screwdriver, and twist that mofo off.

Wintergreen oil from your local drugstore works well as a lubricant.
