haha reading owns some peopple. anyways are you just replacing with stock tach or going aftermarket

We'll the DX doesnt have the RPM gauge... so i bought one off ebay... that was off a automatic EX. And yah today i unscrew that bolt and i installed it and it works all fine.

first of all..dunno if it was your tach, your car, whatever...for future reference...if/when you paint the pieces(it's rice anyhow)...don't worry not hating...i painted mine too.........anyways, take the pieces out when you paint them.
