I searched ans searched for a DIY for these gauges and found nothing so I figured I'd make one when I installed mine. Pics are from my phone so some ar blurry, just ask if u got any questions it was pretty easy.

If you dont know how to take out a 6th gen cluster this helps:

After I got the cluster out

Its pretty easy to figure out how everything comes apart, there are little tabs surrounding the clear plastic on top, if you push you can remove this piece. Then remove the other black piece that surrounds the gauge faces as well as the one that outlines the gauge faces. The turn signal light bulbs are located on the top of the black piece (the second one you remove) and you have to disconnect one in order to remove the piece)

The big hole to the right is also a bulb you will have to disconnect, it is attached to the turn signal that needs to be removed.

Now your ready to begin

Do be careful of the needles but they're not made of glass. I unscrewed each of the screws on each face and then laid the double stick tape that is included onto each of the faces. The tape looks like a big circle with cut outs in it. There are three parts (one for each face). I did the speedometer first (you can move the needle around as long as ur careful not to bend it) and the S7 face slid over the needle and stuck pretty well. There are wires attached to each S7 face but we"ll deal with them later.

After that is done, apply the metallic looking piece (provided) over the appropriate spot (their outlined with screw holes so its pretty easy to figure out where they go, basically you want to cover up any of the pink that is showing on the face). Then you take of the protective covering on the piece witht he MPH and slap it on there.

Fuel/temp done and I forgot to take a pic of the tach but u get the idea...

After that is done you are ready to re-assemble. Theere are three wires that should be showing (1 for each face) and you need to find places to put the wires so the cluster goes back correctly. This is what mine looked like from the back when i had re-assembled

Now put the cluster back in the car, the three wires attach to a harness thing they give you (with color and brightness control) you need to wire it into your parking brakes and ground it. Behind the dash i wired it into on of the harnesses (red/black for parking lights, and then grounded it by attaching it to a bolt that is right behind the steering wheel).

And then your done whoo...the job could take an hour+, it took me longer bc I had a setback when wiring them into the harness

These are the best overlays I've seen and they are pretty bright. Definitely recommend them, I'm sure some will say they're rice...good change either way and much cheaper than an si cluster

Theres a small gap on the tach where I didn't get the face exactly lined up but other than that I'm pretty happy, needles still work at least
