what did you end up doing? bob was telling me i would have to remove the lca completely
might be a turning point for their season. i was pretty shocked to see them completely dominate the bears. i figured it would be close but damn.
i wasnt attempting to remove my suspension at home. i mean, the bolts all the way through but i didnt want to risk driving home and having something worse happen so i towed it home.Damn... this is the weekend of bad luck with our cars.

and its going to be that one that will be the pain in the ass. my other rear shock came off and the fronts will be cake i'm sure

your're going have to replace that lca, or the bushing in the lca. i snapped the bold that holds the trailing arm to the lca. i attempted to extract the bolt myself, but i failed. i thought it was just the head that broke off, i then found out it was seized and it wasn't going to move at all. in the end, i took it to a shop and they took care of it. they cut the bolt and replace the lca since the bushing waas seized to the bolt. you can get by without replacing the whole lca, but it would take a little more work. if you do take it to a shop, try to take them just the lca and the shock, it'll will save labor cost. good luck dude!

What does lca stand for?
I wasn't sure if that solid frame in the rear suspension was called the trailing arm or not. Either way its cracked for me near the hole and the bushings have been worn out since god only knows when on me with the white hatchie.

I have never before on my life driven in snow/ice
This sucks!
I was taking a turn from Indian Trail Rd into Eola road, I was going about 25, I turn, and my car turns a lil bit, and after that, UNDERSTEER TO DA MAXXX! Only reason I didnt hit the curb is because I ussed my E-brake and made my car turn a sharp 90 degree turn, downshifted, and gunned it ( i didnt knew I knew how to do a proper powerslide!)
I think the psi in my tires is too high. I am running ~40psi, what do you guys recomend?

I usually fill my cars up to 35 or 38, even on long distance trips.

the tow truck driver from saturday sounded like Niko from GTA4, it was funny. especially when he started rippin on this lady that tried cutting him off on the expressway. "b***h you gon die!"
yep, i'll probably drag my dad.. hes already thrilled i broke something else on my car. the funny thing is that this is more severe than my axle issue from earlier this year but i'm still upbeat. especially after one of my buddys told me he could probably get me a ls motor for a good price

So still waitin on the news man? APT for $770 = me jealous lolIt's an equipment technician job for a company that makes machine that test different pavement characteristics. I'd be building them in Florida, and for international orders I'd fly out to Mexico, Central and South America, and South Africa, to deliver them to the customer, help set the machines up, and show whoever how to use them.

Erick, I drove my hatch with a the head of that bolt snapped off for a few months. Was it always in the back of my mind, yes. Did the shock ever come off leading to a horrible crash on the interstate thus leading me to crash through the pearly gates backwards, no.
Unfortunately all I can do is wait. I hope I'm waiting because of a background check or something meaningful, instead of testing my patience.
three of my shocks have been removed recently.. this one hadnt been off for 2yrs and i had a feeling it would be a b***h but to snap the bolt? that i didnt expect.. oh well, its done..
nah, i dont have the link to that sorry.. i'm looking to swap next, next year if i'm still interested. i gotta pay off my cc first and thats next year.
