Audio/Sub Questions

I'm looking to upgrade the stock stereo in my civic. I'm going to get four speakers on the inside of the car. But also I'm going to get Subs but my main question is:

What will sound better? 2 12" Alpine Type X or 1 15" Apline Type X. I cant decide whether it will sound louder/deeper with a bigger drum or with two 3" smaller subs.

Opinions??

to be honest i would get 2 12" typeX's they can be wired down to 1ohm (if you buy 2 4ohm subs) so you can deliver more power to them if you have a 1ohm stable amp. the 2 12" subs also have a surface area of 24" so it will be much more powerful than a single 15"

I currently have 3 10" P3's they are wired at if i remember 2.66 ohms (i may be wrong)
I do wish that i had just gotten 2 15" P3's wired down to 1 ohm so i could deliver more power to them.
