Hey everyone, two days ago, me and my friends installed rear speakers in my friends civic. They are connected to a 4 channel amp. Today we noticed that when we turn the volume all the way down, there is a static noise coming from the speakers. Im not sure why this is happening. Any ideas? and how to fix it?

Double and triple check your connections. Make sure your ground is clean and secure. What gauge wire do you use? That may be your prob as well?

Make sure you run your RCA's as far away from the power wire as u can. I ran my RCAs down the drivers side and my power on the pass side... Power has noise in the lines and can interfere in the sound quality. thats the only thing i can think of. other than the speaker wire itself to the speakers. good luck, might be out of the head unit itself.

what he said.....my brothers car does the same thing...
i think its just from the power constantly running to the speakers from the amp...
