the table line not being straight is throwing the picture off. i like the idea though because alot of people are doing crazy things with gummy bears and photography lately.

I was just thinknig of how I was missing your photo's.

I think i'm going to pick up the Canon 50mm 1.8 today. Finally got into prime lenses...since what I want to do is band photography...i figure prime lenses would be most beneficial.

Just a test of some under saturation, let me know what you think. On my monitor it looks great, wanna know your opinion.

Still not 100% back to normal, but it feels good to finally be somewhat back

For some reason I dunno, normal saturation (if not a little +/-) just seems like it would do better :what:

Snack time. Keeps me going with editing and/or pokeher stars

I think you should hold off and save up for the 1.4 instead. i use an 85mm f/1.8 but that's only good for outside photography or when i have room inside to move around.

I love my 50mm 1.8. It is no wonder lens, but for $50. It's biggest problem is that it is a little tight for indoor stuff other then portraits. At 50mm you gotta be wayyy back to get the shot. Try to find something around 30mm. My suggestion:

Yeah, I know. It's a Sigma. But all the magazines and everyone I've talked to says that it is really top-notch. The 30mm Lens will give you much more flexibility indoors. This thing makes a great party lens.

I was noticing that too today. I really enjoyed shooting at 35mm. I was playing around with the 50mm, till i realized how far away i had to be. Where were you finding the 50mm for $50. I went to ritz and they wanted $130...but b & h had it for $85 shipped.

Shot from tonight:

I don't know I like the orangy tone the under saturating brings out I think it suits the prairies very well, but, I guess a lot of this kinda stuff is personal opinion. Those pics are dope too btw, #2 is my favorite, I think you should take out that water paper(?) effect and send me the full size image so I can use it as a background! :P
