he's been driving it (untuned) for months, dude.

he doesn't get it tuned because he's too cheap. we've discussed this.

yea i plan to.....i think im gonna have to cut it a lil bit to make it fit around the turbo.....but i plan to get it on asap

he's not too poor to dump money into a 18 year old car and rebuild an engine including machine work and aftermarket forged internals, but he is too poor to spend $400 making it all run right.

i figured if you had enough money to build that engine, and car the way you have, you had enough money to get a $400 tune.

ok i see where your coming from now....well ive been buildin the turbo kit for over 2 years now....then i spun a bearing in the ZC, and well for my graduation present my dad bought all the parts to rebuild it (rods, pistons, water pump, oil pump, bearings, headstuds, headgasket, headwork, etc) i plan on getting it tuned....its just i gotta come up with the money now....i dont have a job yet so its kinda hard to get 400 bucks....ive been lookin for a job but its hard to find one around here....but trust me i wanna get this thing tuned as bad as you do....

i think its really cool when family helps out with a build. Hell, my girlfriend HATES my car cause it was loud, but now I got her to paint the valve cover as a early b-day gift. I know how you feel about the job situation. When I got fired from my job a while back, i couldnt throw money into the car unless it was for gas or air fresheners. good thing i work at ford though, good pay, and cant get fired unless kicked out of school lol

i'm not sure if you've been paying attention lately...but that benefit can stop quickly in the next couple months to a year.

man i think a 8.3 compression ratio is waaaaaay too low for only running 10psi. you're not gonna make any power. Evo 8's have a 8.8:1 CR and they run 21psi on a 2.0 liter and they only make 275 or so crank horsepower. Im thinking for your power goals you should have gone for 10's on the compression ratio.

well its not a wagovan, they were the older ones and commonly 4wd. Mine is a 90 wagon. 2wd. but yea we recently put an obd0 LS in it.

yea i agree the CR is to low....but i got a very good deal on the rods and pistons.....

475 shipped for srp pistons and eagle rods....i couldnt pass it up....

im just gonna have to run a lot of boost and get a good ass tune to make it fast.....

i raced a LS turbo running 5 lbs and beat him....so im happy for now until i can upgrade lol

cars nice. would look alot better with some legit amber corners. the clear looks 2 cheap.

I personally like clear corners on ED/EF chassis more than ambers.There are some decent ones on ebay. Chaos' look fine.
