it doesnt mean inexperienced driver.
it doesn't?
The Shoshinsha mark (初心者マーク, Shoshinsha mark?) or Wakaba mark (若葉マーク, Wakaba mark?) is a green and yellow V-shaped symbol that new Japanese drivers must display on their cars for one year. (A driver must display this mark one in front of the car, and one on back of the car, after they take a standard driver's licence, for one year. This obligation is only for standard licence, not for motorcycle, large vehicle, special car, etc.)

Its official name is The Beginner Drivers' Sign (初心運転者標識, shoshin untensha hyōshiki?). Conversely, the orange and yellow "Fukushi mark" or "Koreisha mark" denotes elderly drivers. Both marks are designed to warn other drivers that the marked driver is not very skilled, either due to inexperience or old age.

It has become a fad for US drifters, and "JDM" fanboys to display these in their cars, incidentally serving to warn others of their immaturity behind the wheel.

On other news that poster should reed
"Ricer! I'm no ricer! here's my arm to prove it!"

in some rough translation it means that. but in jdm land you display it on your vehicle until you are 60 years old, then you switch the elder driver leaf.

get it?

i guess if you consider yourself an inexperienced driver until age 60 then thats cool..

Well if your a freakin fanboy why would you have this on your car after a year? It's like driving around with a "student driver" sign on your roof. After a year it isn't law to have it....

"Koreisha mark"
That's a senior citizens sign on your roof. Only us Americans would rock either of these and think it's cool. And by Americans I mean JDM Ricer Fanboi's!

Oh nooo!!!! God forbid somebody who drives a Civic doesnt have a JDM part on their car!!! Get over yourself.
Dude wtF? I am not saying this guy is lame because he doesn't have JDM s**t on his Civic. Just saying the tattoo is lame because he is saying he is JDM, but doesn't have anything JDM.

I knew there would be at least ONE person who would talk s**t.
