Hey everyone, been posting around for a bit, too lazy to get my build thread started, but here it is.

First a little back story. I had bought an auto 1996 Honda Accord LX burgundy sedan. I only had it for about 5 months before I hit a deer and totaled it. The insurance money bought me this 1999 Honda Civic EX 5speed milano red coupe which I've had for about two months. Car was fairly abused by the previous owners and I've definitely had some issues, including the one biggie, burning and/or leaking a quart of oil a week, which is still a problem. Anyhow, just dealing with it as it comes, money is scarce, as are parts and even people to help out with things. I live in Nebraska and i'm the only guy I know doing what I do.

Laughable mod list:

Engine
NGK iridium ix plugs
Beldin plug wires
Generic intake tube, AEM dryflow filter
Option front strut tower bar
Generic big ass tipped muffler

Interior
PassJdm red stitched shift boot
Razo shift knob

Suspension
Neuspeed springs, 1.5-2 inch drop

You may also notice that much of the interior is black. This is because when I got the car much of the interior panels were painted bright red. Needless to say I rattle-canned them black as soon as I could. If anybody can get me a GOOD deal on some oem pieces, that would be much appreciated. Tint will come off eventually, I'm just lazy and inexperienced.

I'm not one of those hardcore super-tuners, but I do have lots more to come for this car, so stay close.

actually, I do have the drop worked out, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. So as not to "toot my own horn" I was keeping it humble, also those pictures were taken at a downward angle.

It's pretty cold here and I kept putting off washing it, now its 20 degrees out. I might go vacuum out the interior today. As for the bay, it got a quick once over with simple green right before that picture was taken.

My plans aren't anything spectacular, I'd love to swap but I really don't have the money right now. This was the car I've always wanted (actually always wanted a hatchback, but decided I wanted the cruise control and power steering) so I plan on keeping the car as long as possible, maybe a swap or f/i could be in the future. Aside from that I don't have much money coming in so you can rest assured I won't be saving up for a year for a super expensive set of rims or genuine CTR pieces. Just going to be cleanly built as best I can.

It looks good to me. The drop is great, get some Rotas to complete that drop. They are cheap!

wow guys, i think my computer is being weird i didn't see most of these posts.

The car is a bit beat up, dents here and there, and a big one above the passenger rear fender that will be pulled out eventually. A new front bumper couldn't hurt either.

Exhaust header is stock. All of the aftermarket stuff on my car will eventually be replaced by better stuff, everything you see came with the car, aside from the passJDM stuff, which were a gift from my girlfriend.

Since I drove my car last week, today I washed it before putting it back in the garage for a while. Had some time on my hands so I took pictures.

I'm getting a front lip soon, so I thought I'd post some pictures of how low the front of the car already is, I'm going to have to watch it after the lip goes on.

Showing how low the rest of the car is.

looks like you might need a front camber kit, or at least an alignment

yes, I should take it in for an alignment, rotation too.

I've always wanted a hatch, but decided to compromise on a car with power steering and I was under the impression that EXs had ABS, but apparently not.
