fancy media features? really, the only things that are important to me is that i can change skins to suit my preferences, and that i have email shortcuts. i guess the latter isn't all that important, but i like the notifications, and that i can just click on a link to access my email.

pidgin's skinning is GTK+ based, so you have TONNES of options for that. no email integration though
