smaller pulleys can always be custom made by machinist the big thing is that the smaller pulley u go the more heat soak ur gonna get...if u need any help with superchargers let me know i have hundreds of cars under my belt supercharged
heat soak is not a huge issue with roots style chargers because you still run the normal bolt ons like cai. Heat soak is there, dont get me wrong, but its not as power robbing as heat soak from a turbo set up.
One of the things to keep in mind when goin with a s/c is if you are going to build the block or head build it just the like you would if you were staying n/a. compression can go around 11:1 on a good tune, n/a cams are better than turbo cams for s/c.
as far as who makes the better s/c, its just like everything else, personal preferance.

to be honest i have seen some rsx's run 200 degree iat's which they feel is fine (i know this from clubrsx and k20a.org) and it blows my mind. i never ran over 130 degrees at wot with my supercharger and felt i was heat soaking...maybe its just ones opinion on cars but if im going to be force inducted i want my intake temps as close to ambient as possible.
and he's correct on the build..i wouldnt go wild on the compression cuz u can cause knock unless ur gonna run methanol/water injection. and cams u want to keep for a NA build due to the fact that u lose alot of intake charge with turbo cams (turbo cars dont because they have a huge restriction in there exhaust....a TURBO)
and agreed...there isnt a differnce..just personal preference
