Help with sub

I need help with my sub. Some reason after taking my system out i put it back it and everything works but the sub is out playing out like it normally does. the sub is playing in so the sub is goign in not out. get it? so it sounds horrible. any guesses?

sorry if i was unclear. my sub is pushing in instead of out. you know how when your speaker sounds, it pushes bass out and u feel it, i cant feel mine come out i feel my in the inside.

are you sure the - and + are the same from the sub to the amp?
yupp.. can i have blew the sub that why? but sounds strong still. i pulled the wires out of the box and everything and checked it. any other reason why it would do this?

sounds like the + and - are mixed up....

but if you already tried that then im not sure...

Most likely it's a dual voice coil. Take the sub out and check each coil (two pairs of -/+ connections). DVCs, one pushes in and the other out. Other than that, check your homies sub to see if their's does the same.

I heck it on another sub and still the same the plus and negitive is right. It is playing inphase still

ok so you have a single sub in a box, a mono amp? you tried the amp on another sub and it works fine? have you tried your sub with another amp?

^^i havent, do you think it could be the amp? the amp work fine before i took it out. could it be the wiring behind the deck? i just connected the wires back the same. i dont think it can be the deck becus its playing the amp and sub.

did you check your signal cable? id say check then and try another amp with your sub.

you mean the signal for the radio? if so i never had that pluged in and it worked so i dont think that is the problem and if thats not the radio signal what cable you talking about. sorry still new to this.

no the audio feed from the reciever to the amp. did you wire it yourself? they're rca connectors.
