I need some help guys. I want to swap my front and rear black seats for Either some s2000 fronts seats and maybe Gs-r leather rears , what will bolt directly to 03-05 Coupe civic and I have side airbags is there a way to keep the "side airbag off" light from being on all the time? My other choices were 02-05 black rsx type s seats or the ep3 si's, which rails fit directly ( i would think the si's for sure) ??? please let me know I am not opposed to some gs-r leathers all the way around but would they mount correctly?.... Definitely want to make sure before purchasing. Thanks for your help!!

Well s2k seats, you have to swap the whole seat pan or have custom rails made. RSX seats and EP3 seats are pretty much direct bolt in in the front. The rears take some modifying either way but its definitely doable. You could just remove the little bulb to keep the light off but otherwise it will be on unless you plug side air bags up.
RSX seats do require you to modify the rail or the hole to make them fit. I just want to save you the time since your misinformed.
EP3 seats have to be moded a little too. Or you could do what I did.

Damn you beat me to it. Even if you modify one hole, theres still only 3 holes that line up in the front. The best and safest idea is to swap the brackets and rails like in Latin's DIY.
eh i did mine without swapping the rails. I just bored out the third hole. The seat doesn't move at all.
Meaning its only bolted down by 3 of the 4 bolts?
That's correct. I did the long bracket and the front two. The other one doesn't need to be put in plus when I swap back and sell the car it's good to go.
Not going to lie, thats EXACTLY how mine are. I tried seeing if I could modify them, and when I got 3 out of 4, I called it a day. I just wanted to suggest the OP swap brackets because I think it would be safer.if you think about it the seats have absolutely nothing to do with safety. The seat isn't going to rip out because one bolt is missing and during a collision the seat belt is the part taking the brunt of the impact. You can modify the last one if you want using a metal screw and a washer and that would be a "half ass" solution or you can rethread a new bolt and make a new hole. It just depends. On my setup I want to sell it later so this is how it stays.

you gotta have 50 post to look at the classifieds section. I guess though he's not selling them just yet. It was another thread I saw 350 but was for something different. I'm sure the price would be around there though. Kid seems kindda desperate. Anyway i'll let you know when it pops up that he wants to sell them outright.
