I bought a 12" Pioneer sub in an enclosure and a 200 watt Alpine amp from a guy on Craigslist. The Amp doesn't work.

I found this out after spending a few hours pulling apart my car to wire everything.

At least my car is "plug-and play" now with the wiring. But I need to buy an amp. Time to save a bit..

yeah craigslist can be a bad thing. That is why when you buy from somewhere like that you test before you pay, but hopefully everything works out for you.

Yeah, always make sure that something works for certain before buying it.

I would go back to the seller and be like...dude, wtf.....

Just go back and throw the amp thru his side window. Have a note saying that the amp works better as a projectile than an stereo amp!

My experience has been hit or miss.Only once did I buy something without proof that it worked. I had the guy make a bill of sale guaranteeing that it (an arc welder) worked or my money back.
