Pete, lower ISO and fstop mean less intensity of the flash? I never knew this..oh my...I must go mess around with my camera!

I hate not having time for my own shots

- Isn't that a repost on the b&w?
- - Nice wet floor

Hooked, man. Turn your ISO down ... great shots, but noisy boys for sure.

Maybe it's my monitor. But a lot of them have a ton of noise in the shadows. I don't do any better though ... :scurred:

Thats the basic gist of it. With using flashm you will want to be in manual mode all the time. f/stop can also help play a roll in controlling ambient light.

I see it too. What happened with the first shot, looks to be over edited or something...:what:

Hey, took these pictures today of a relatives car. Just got the car washed in time to catch a bit of the sun going down. It was too cold, I only got about 30 pictures in which 3 came out great. I'll post 4 but 2 are the same just different PP.

There is no editing. Those are straight off the camera.

The first one is a 10" exposure at f/4 at 55mm.

The second one is a 25" exposure at f/5.3 at 160mm

Both are ISO 200. These kinds of settings tend to create halo's. ;)

I used a warming photofilter, some gradient masks with the use of soft light blend modes, some lens correction(vignette), hue/saturation changes, brightness/darkness changes
