Boost D15B7????

ok i have a spare long block out of my rx7. it has a turbo with no shaft play, a bov and adapter, and a Mitsu Starion Spearco front mount. i just purchased a 92 DX and all I want is about 180hp so I was thinkin of maybe throwing all my RX7 turbo stuff on the B7. Will 87 RX-7 550cc purple tops work in a EG? i was also just gonna run a S-AFC since im not lookin for big numbers. is this a good idea? i cant let this turbo stuff go to waste.

i wouldnt bother with a D series

Deff keep the D alot of ppl throw them to the side but dont realize that the D Series has ALOT of potential. with a lil bit of mods u can push 300 WHP easy

it does have a lot of potential, with a lot of money just do a b swap and call it good man.

you will pushing like you said 180hp maybe and your motor who knows how long its going to last
do a rebuild or something just dont throw on the turbo and call it good do some more research

Purple tops came in 88-91 with part #195500-2020
87 Turbo RX-7 w/VIN before an ending of 7601 = 550cc low impedance
87-88 Turbo RX-7 w/VIN of or after 7601 = 550cc high impedance

Anyways... I'd still get a P28 chipped because if you drain your battery your S-AFC won't keep it's memory. A chipped P28 you don't have to worry about and all it takes is a basemape then a tune on a dyno. Must safer and can be less headache. Everything else will work just buy intercooler piping. I think you'll need to run a resistor box though.

300whp lmao??? were not talkin about B series here.....

D series can maybe push 250whp b4 they snap a rod.....be careful though id say around 200-220 is a good limit...

just get some DSM bluetop injectors.....they are 450cc and will be good up to a lil over 300whp....perfect for a stock motor

i wouldnt run a safc either....do it right and get a chipped ecu....either tune it on a dyno or tune it yourself on the street.....
