How can I indentify this Prop Valve?

Hey Guys,

Well I have this Prop Valve that I bought sometime ago and it was sold to me as a 4040 Prop Valve, now how do I know if it actually is a 4040 Prop Valve and not something else? The Prop Valve does not have 4040 or anything of that sort stamped on it, it does have other letters and numbers - which I have provided pics of.

I am posting here so that the Brake Experts can chime in and tell me what type of Prop Valve this is and, if possible, off what car. Like I said this was sold to me as a 4040 Prop Valve and I just want to know if this is true or not. I was also told it came off a "Type R," they didnt mention if it was a USDM ITR, JDM ITR, or a JDM CTR.

I really am just curious to know the actual information of this Prop Valve so that I know how to properly use it in a future Brake Upgrade set up or replacement. Thanks guys!

Here's all I've been able to find, the 4040 Prop Valve that is off a JDM Civic Type R, looks just like mine. I was told mine came off a "Type R" and it was 4040 ... Maybe he meant out of a CTR instead of an ITR? Here's the link to ICB's Store ...

Thanks, I appreciate the help. I had found that Thread and had read it, I just wanted to make sure and see if anyone else had some info on it to confirm it, but it seems like I found my answer. This Prop Valve is indeed a 4040 Prop Valve
