so here is a really f**kED up story that just happened..

As I have mentioned a lil bit here and there... my alternator is on the fritz... well last night driving home on I-5 from Elk Grove back to home in Stockton.... the car completely DIED... pulled over to the side of the freeway and luckily buddy from work was able to let me use his AAA to get the tow home.

So... got the car towed home, had them just place it in front of my house and was going to hope to start it up tomorrow and take it to the shop I always go too

well.... in between 12:00 - 12:30 my car was towed.... reason it was towed is... our HOA (home owners association) has a rule that no cars can be parked in the street between 12am-6am throughout the night.

So I got a ride form a neighbor to the towing yard... and to keep a long story there short, it got pretty escalated and the car is still there

So this morning, I called the HOA manager lady to explain to her why it was in front of my house rather than the garage like it always is and that I can't afford to have it pulled from towing cuz i have to have it fixed
so I'm waiting to hear back from that lady right now....

The whole car breaking down on the side of the road thing, didn't bother me at all... in fact I knew it was coming and that it was just a matter of time... what bothers me is the whole towed away situation :x:x:x:x:x

make sure those f**ks dont steal anything from your car. Tow companies are the shadiest f**king places on earth. If they see your s**t has some nice parts on it they WILL take them and play dumb. Epsecially since they take peoples cars without consent.

that's actually WHY i bought in a gated community with HOA... i don't want to see that s**t on/around/near peoples house when I come home, that is the oakiest s**t in the world

anywho... here is the low down..

$167 to get it out of towing

They have these stupid ass redlines in our community, not red curbs, red lines in the gutter and it's front of my house and because of that the HOA manager lady said there wasn't anything she could do... if it were not in the "red zone" should could have helped **AAAAAAAAAA** to make matters worse... jumped the car, the shop happens to be 2.5miles from the towing yard, car made it half a mile and die out in the middle of traffic, luckily Felicia has AAA and we got it up the street

what a FIASCO man.... but at least it's finally at the shop and tomorrow is pay day

this simply could have been avoided if I would have just moved the car into guest parking over night but I figured f**k IT... it's just ONE f**kin night..

ah.. the Jennings luck

pretty much what a lot of people say, it's a personal preferences.

when it all comes down to it though, I'm pretty much to take blame for the entire ordeal and could have prevented it but that's what I get for being lazy

and some communities has a b***h of a HOA manager that they would do that without even waiting or warning you. some would actually call you to give you the first warning.

yea if the hoa knows that that is your car i know most people would rather get woke up and told to move it than have it towed .... hell i woulda parked it on the lawn at least thats your property and probably wouldnt have gotten towed as quick as it bein in the street

yay! PED saves my car yet again... up and running good once again! I think what I've decided to do is keep it the way it is and then after the meet, goes back to stock form and up for sale...

but who knows I'm very fickle :smileyR:
