after countless spills in my car, I have a mug that I keep in the cupholder and I put my bottles/cups(the actual bottle) etc in the mug. This keeps my drinks secure, lol.

Our cupholders do suck ass. I have had many drinks spill onto my passenger carpet though. They dont hold cans or bottles, why did honda make them so WIDE?
One thing that did help is my GPS charger. It sticks out from the cigarette lighter about 2 inches and the wire helps to hold the cups down.
Someone ever had a cup spill at the wrong time? Try a cup spilling, while taking a 90 degree turn WHILE on the cell phone. I didnt know what to do.

i just got some new cup holders too because mine were painted blue. but i replaced them with OE. they look pertty good now. i love how my skunk2 short shifter and shift know reflect sunlight. if your triming them down did u try a heat gun at all? and skunk2 has some pertty nice short shifts. im loven the bearings in them! look into it sometime bro
i have a great solution in my 99 cut the bottoms out of the cup holders theres like 3 more inches below, i can fit the 1 liter pop bottles in there and the large drinks from mcdicks
my plan to finish the project was to buy another identical set of cup folders and cut the top and surrounding away and glue to the bottom of the ones i have the bottoms cut out of..... but i have yet to finish it
but stock 99-00 cup holders with no bottoms kick ass!! i'll have to post a pic hahahha
