Does this look familiar to anyone?

I've always always ALWAYS wanted a push-start button. Not to mention one that works!! Dunno about getting this wired today since it's like 10 degrees out but I'm almost excited enough to not care about that . Regardless...can't wait to see it working .

And yes, I had to make a thread about it because I haven't been this excited since my suspension last year .

It's not wired. He only gave me the push start unit and the panel with the cut-outs. I have to wire it from scratch, which I now know how to do thanks to him...again .

Well yeah... That's how he was selling it lol. Panel + pre-cutouts + button.

Do you have to put the key in the ignition and press the button or you don't need a key at all now?

you still have to use the key. and position it right before you turn it over to start it.

So. its 2 clicks then press button HAHA. extra steps for looking cool i guess

You still need the key. You can still turn the car on without using the button. The button is just extra coolness .

I wired mine so you cant use the key to start it. Someone will ask if they can drive my car and they dont know its push button so they cant get it started, keeps people from actually getting to drive my car after they get all excited.

i thought about buying this from shorty, but when i sat in my car and tried to push where the button would be, i didnt like it :[

should put it where the hazard button is.

LOL. I was working on my car earlier and imagined pushing it and I don't mind it. I'll probably end up relocating it later on when I find a better spot that everyone can see it from outside and go "ooooooooohhhhhhh ssshhhiiiittt" .
