this is what im planning on doing to mine, looks great. can you briefly expain the steps on how you did it?
1) use aircraft stripper to clean it alll off. (only because i had other paint on there. or needed for other valve covers with the black crinkly paint)
2) use the purple power or what ever degreaser you can to clean it all up
3) polish what ever you want polished and clean up any rough areas
4) tape up the areas you dont want painted( spark plug tubes...etc)
5) put vaseline on the H O N D A / V T E C or anything you polished that you want to show, and in any acrew holes you need to use later.
6) primer all of it thats going to be painted. paint the vaseline to so it will get in around the words
7) paint all the primer
8) let dry real good and then wipe off the vaseline
9) its all done. dont forget to use high temp paint. 500 degrees will be fine. i used regular metalic textured finish paint and it gets kinda soft when it gets real hot. but i just dont touch it or move it when its hot. its not running off yet
10) dupli-color makes good paint
