alright i was wanting more carbon fiber on my car so i starting to get it to flow in the interior. i bought a carbon fiber dual frog eye gauge pod. so i had to buy some gauges. i bought an autometer sport comp air/fuel narrowband gauge.(dont flame on this lol) and also an autometer sport comp volt meter gauge.
i need to know exactly what wire at the ecu to wire the air/fuel gauge to. ive searched and one post said the bigger white wire. that gave me alot of help. i need to know EXACTLY which one. a diagram would help alot. its going into a 98 civic dx.

it comes with general directions. it says to wire it to the o2 sensor at the ecu. i dont know which wire that is.

i hooked mine into the o2 sensor....mine is only 1 wire so it was easy lol
but dosent that wire get hot??? i was thinking about doing it that way but the directions say that the wire gets to hot thats why it should be wired at the ecu.

yea you will have to try each one probably til it works....luckily on my 4th gen i only have 1 wire so it was simple

but yea ive had it hooked up for over a year now with no probs.....its not the wire that gets hot its the exhaust mani that makes it hot.....as long as you splice into the wire away from the exhaust mani you will be fine.....

im in the middle of the install of the air/fuel ratio gauge. when i dont connect the purple wire to the white wire on my primary o2 sensor theres 1 bar of green light on the gauge. then when i connect the purple and white wire together nothing coms on at all. its wierd. so can someone tell me another place to try to connect the purple wire to besides the o2 sensor. like the signal wire to the o2 at the ecu. what wire is that and what color. thanks

nevermind i figured it all out.
for people wondering the same question i was. take the ecu cover thing out and unbolt the ecu. look at the smallest of the 3 plugs. its on the very right side. theres like 10-15 wires coming off of the clip. find the solid white wire its in spot D-9 connest the purple wire to this solid white wire and u should be good to go.
