i dont understand why this is posted in clubcivic... how many times do you think people have had this argument? probably more than the number of pennies in baracks bailout plan. this debate will most likely NEVER end, and if it does it will be so abrupt that there wouldnt have been a point in the debate in the first place. I dont see why people dont just believe what they believe and let other people be who they are and do their own thing.

I'm not going to state what i believe because i dont want to start a new debate or fuel the fire of the current one.

no my belief in god gives me hope for another eternal life after this one.....a much better one with no worries or fear.....or he will put my spirit in another body...honeslty its to hard to say.....i guess we will all find out once we die...

thats why i believe in god....so i can live in heavan...so i can see my parents....my pets....my friends...my family...just everything....

i just dont see how humans could have evolved outta bacteria and such.....their is just no way im sorry lol...that is like getting a new born baby to survive on its OWN....it never could....with as many tries as possible it will never work...how could it work...

I may end in nothing, but in death there is rebirth. Matter and energy are at a constant. My rotting flesh gives off energy as it decays. This leads to new life which will again become decaying matter and give off energy.

Your believe seems to be born based on a lack of faith in what you have no comprehension of rather than an abundance of faith in what you think you comprehend.

Meh, All I know is that thinking about these two theories:

1. Something coming from nothing
2. Something always existing, having no beginning and no end.

I can't fathom either of them. That's all I got. We can all argue and say this is the way it is, or that is the way it is, but in the end nobody is right because nobody knows. Yes, evolution did happen and does happen. That is without debate (I feel like we keep getting more and more in depth of religion vs science? Why?) When it comes to the beginning of all things (if there is a beginning?) there's not a whole lot of certainty anywhere.

i think their is 2 forces to a human.....the body and the spirit.....the body controls itself in the manner where it tells you when your hungry....when your sick...to heal itself....

whenever you get hurt....do you tell your body to heal itself? probably not....it does it on its own....well why does it tell you these things when your in controll....it just doesnt make sense....its like im trapped in this body lol

hmmm.....honestly could be true....but how does memory work....how is it that you wake up everyday the same person....their has to be more than just us living from electricity....how is it weed and alcohol affect the brain? wouldnt electricity get messed up from water in our body....their has to be more than just living from electricity....either we majorly evolved over the millions of years....or god created us lol.....i just dont see how all of this stuff could of happened with luck....and why only our planet has life on it....but then again for all we know their is other universes with life on it.......its all just a big mystery
