I believe there's a fuse for that. Someone can chime in if I'm wrong.

Is it the factory radio?

Did just the radio go out?

Did just the illumination (numbers) go out?

Does the screen still light?

If you answered "yes" to all those questions -- smack the radio around a little. They have an internal grounding problem for the illumination. I've got about three of them that have the same problem.

It's that exact problem. All the radios I have with the light problem have the volume problem. It's an internal grounding issue between the circuit board and the body.

I've got two 99-00 Si radios doing that, I actually didn't even realize the numbers were supposed to light up.
