still using my antenna!

i use my radio full blast all the time. i keep my antenna at about a foot out of the hole. it would be great if i can get great reception but.. not having a metal stick sticking out. so.. i wanted to know if i could buy this.. or something like it to make it more.. sleek and get better reception at the same time.

ive never opened those two screws to see wat was underneath. thanks.

it wont work in the stock location... you would have to do something like i have on my hatch...

mine has an older MDX antenna assembly... i would recommend using a new CRV antenna assembly since its smaller and sleeker.

i know what you mean... i dont like the look for the stock antenna either... i always have it down and the only reason i havent removed it is i put it up to listen to baseball games on the radio. anyways, i dont know if youll get better reception... but it could look good. maybe if you put it like the antenna on the golf? towards the rear of the roof.

its a matter of personal preference really.

oh hell no. that spot wouldnt be oka. im trying to make it look sleeker!! not right on the roof! wat wire do you slice anyway? you get great reception or no? im thinking... maybe i could put it..... inside? haha. ill ask you questions in perosn if you come to that meet.

lol, it looks good on my car IMO. i dont know if it would look good on a coupe tho.

i didnt cut any wires, just added an antenna extension wire. it gets a little bit better reception than the stock one id say... but i usually listen to CD's.

maybe you could get a bimmer one...
