I think by "different" he meant different from all the body kit fast and furious civics, and all the stock civics running around. Sure the "jdm" look is a huge fad thats going around, but theres still way more stocks and ricers =/

Let's get this out of the way, there is nothing wrong with a clean car. Having your car actually flow is all too commonly confused with "JDM fad". Putting quality, OEM parts that belong on the car is a something commendable over cheap imitations. A nice looking car will never go out of style. I think you need to rethink what you are associating JDM with.

Im associating "jdm" with what everyone whos all wrapped up in "the fad" is... mugen lips and fender signals, konigs and rotas, i know what real jdm s**t is and what fake s**t is, But most people arent. Thats why jdm is in quotes, duh.

Well i understand some of you guys take on the Si lip, well if you would have seen the OEM lip you would have replaced it too. It was trashed BAD....lolTthe mugen lip was cheap and i like it. That's whats important to me I put the car together for me.
