I mean, I LOVE Chicago, but man, this weather blows... when i get out of college im moving to Florida (Hurricanes), or Texas (Tornadoes)... somewhere were the weather is normal.

so i did a quick work on my car to see what's up with my passenger seat belt and here are the pics
1.i removed the passenger seat for an easy access


2.f**ker is dusty


3.as you can see the damn seatbelt is old hell


4.here is why my belt won't retract cuz it's not even in and if you look closely there's no clip holding it


5.here you can see that in the middle of the belt it melted i don't how it happend and this is the second reason why the belt won't retract. over here too there's no bolt holding the seatbelt itself it's not even aligned right


so you guys think i have a legitimate excuse now so those f**kers can give me a new seatbelt?

I think its a legitimate excuse for you to get some takata harnesses

You know how dealerships work.. They'll try and place the blame on you for it. They'll probably even go as far as to ask "how do we know YOU didn't do that right now just to try and make us replace it?"

Especially on a modded car, they just go down the list of excuses.

i would tell them why the f**k would i do that, i would not endanger whoever is seating in the passenger seat because of the seatbelt. and i will them that i got the car like that already

I had a creaking noise in the rear of my car after I bought it and took it to the dealership (bumper to bumper coverage) and because I had changed the grille, headlights and grille I 'must have damaged something'. I got a good laugh out of it..
