valve cover refinish

1.strip paint off
2.clean surface
3.prime
4.coat with new paint(its up to you how many coats you want to apply)
5.Cure, place the vavle conver in oven, let it sit in there for about 20 min at 350degrees
let the valve cover cool down till you can touch it, then bake it again for 10 min only at 400.
let it cool down to touch, and install.

so what's the best product to use for this application?

Actually man that's a sore subject to Hawaii

A friend of mine just went there, she was on this tour and saw these huge campsites in the mountains, they were full of people who lost their job and can't afford to fly back to the states.

so what's the best product to use for this application?

there is a diy somewhere on cc, don't remember where. but I followed that.... I used zip-strip marine use semi-paste, to strip the old paint. use a foam brush spread liberaly, then use a garden hose on jet setting and it should just hose off. I did no scraping.
