Sunday May 3, 2009 at 10:00am

Milwaukee Mile
7722 W Greenfield Ave
West Allis, Wisconsin 53214

DRIVE THE MILE is a unique event that will take place rain or shine on Sunday, May 3rd. Minivans, mopeds, work trucks, classic cars and motorcycles will all be allowed to take laps around America's Legendary Oval.

Drivers must be insured and 18 years of age, passengers of any age ride free.

Admission to participate in “Drive The Mile” will remain at $15 plus two non-perishables for the Hunger Task Force of Wisconsin. To help Milwaukee families in need at this event, the Hunger Task Force is asking for peanut butter and canned fruit to replenish their stock of food items.

The Hunger Task Force also encourages cash donations, as their ability to buy in bulk can buy two dollars of food with every dollar donated.

Drive The Mile event details are forthcoming, and will again include a huge classic car show, race cars on display, refreshments and more!

Ticket Info: $15 plus two non-perishibles

yo boost i know you repaint your valve cover care to give me a link or step by step on it pm me if you can thanks
heres the diy link for the vc

http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=98074

for stripping the old paint off i used zip-strip marine semi-paste. so its good for aluminum application. also its more of a gel than a paste. i applied it in a good thick coat and pretty much as soon as i started putting it on it was eating the paint off that fast. i waited like 10-15 mins then grabbed the garden hose, put it on the jet setting and the old paint just came off. i didnt have to do any scrubbing or scrapping like they did in the diy.
also the paint that i used is not high heat paint at all. but i painted it using the same instructions like in the diy. i chose rust-o-lium hammer blue paint. i used 800 grit sand paper to get rid of all the oxidization on my vc and used alooot of emery cloth to shine and polish the dohc and vtec on the vc. trust me it took a while to do that. but i baked my vc at like twice.....250 the first time and 350 the second time. and a vc while on the motor will not get that hot unless your reaaaally pounding the piss out of it. cuz after driving for like an hour or more i can put my bare hand on my vc and its warm but not hot....so basically any kind of paint that sticks to metal will work i do believe.

post pics when you get it done.....i wanna see what it turns out like
