tungsten lights = bad idea, they are kinda dangerous cuz they are extremely hot and tend to heat up the set. The good thing about them is that you get an increased range of DOF.for those who use lighting setups, what kind are u using. also anyone know where to get some good deals on some tungsten kits.
For continuous lighting instead of tungsten, I would recommend HMI lights, they are color temperatured matches sunlight, and they are very bright for such little power... only thing.... costs grip!
For now, I'd say go the strobe way, either using some canon speedlights (most portable) or some strobes (alienbees, elinchrom, profoto, white lightning, etc).
