agreed, i just ordered a OEM carbonfiber hood and im going to try and get thease powercoated and see how that looks...we will see....
there's no such thing as an oem carbon fiber hood and the wheels still wont look good IMO

instead of wasting your time and money on a carbon fiber hood, use the money to piece together your turbo kit

he means its the oem style hood thats in cf. you know... the one without any vents. lol. i think it would look good, if you want it, go for it. its your car do what ever you want, just think of the comments on here more of suggestions. theyre just someone elses opinion.

i ment OEM style. my bad. the reason i was going to get the hood is because my clear coat is starting to fade on my hood...looks like s**t now. the weather up here is harsh on paint.

haha and yeah im open to sugestions, im still not sure what i want to do with it toatly, i wanted to powdercoat the rims black and leave the lip gunmetal, if it looks like s**t i will probly just get new rims soon anyways. Any sugestions on that? i have seen some nice gold, with silver lip on a green EG like mine. looked OK....

Thanks for all the ideas guys =)

you could always re clear the hood if you wanted to save some money, just sand down the rest of that clear, put on a couple of fresh coats, and do a color sand and buff it out.

Okay so if the weather there is harsh on paint, why would you invest in a CF hood thats just going to take a beating as well? Save the paint/exterior work for if you move. Ive never really been a fan of any 5th gen other than hatches......and those wheels dont really help.
