Forgot to finish my post from earlier

if you buy my setup, coilovers + rLCA, you are REPLACING your current rLCA therefor the whole eg/ek thing doesn't matter beacuse your not using the stock rLCA by replacing with my rLCA (function/form)

how do you think guys are running ITR 5-lug swaps on EKs? they all fit, just the OEM LCAs are different (i.e. coilovers made for EG won't work on OEM EK rLCA, and coilovers made for EK won't work on OEM EG rLCA - replace OEM rLCA with after market and issue resolved)

Get it? Got it? GOOD!

so like i said, once i get a spare OEM rLCA for a 5th gen then I can put my stock suspension back on.

Btw, the coilovers were only used from the middle of Oct until the end of Jan. - car has been sittin in the garage since due to working from home.

so anyway, LMK if you want that break or not, otherwise I'm selling the setup for a more than $470

do you know if i need to get washers for the lcas to fit on my subframe without a gap?

actually, hold that setup for a little while, cuz 470 is all i have. i blow that i wont even have gas to meet you half way lmao. or get to school after that. i need to get some back up money first.

im gonna try to sell my 360. the "legendary" 360 B)

EDIT: just sold it to my cousin for 100 bucks. and he lives down the street lmao. Think you can meet this weekend?

errrr get them oem rlca! i want to drop!! o i can sell my tein setup for like 80 bucks maybe. hit up the junkyards. my junkyards had like 2-3 92-95 last time i went.

since my head still hurts, i shouldnt rush this until i recover. but i need them by the 9th for the yb meet!

I need to find a rLCA first bro, w/out that I can't put suspension back on my car - there is a stripped bolt in my LCA, so new LCA + bolt and i'm good to go... trying to find one for like $20 or something, shiet i'll pay for the pair if i have too

as far as a washer goes, no… i have never heard of anyone doing that.

we can certainly do it at my house, maybe i'll go out and buy a air gun since I have a compressor for free. make the job go by a lot faster :D

soon as I get the rLCA then we're good for it

Function7 just came out with a killer rLCA/swaybar (they call reinforcement bar) combo for the DC5!

that looks cool, but i'd still rock the gold asr brace with gold lcas. i'll trade your eg lcas for gold ek ones eventually, d.

be careful with that, remember the suspension from me works on EG/DC because of the rLCA so if you plan on upgrading LCA, make sure you get rLCA for an EG/DC not an EK

oh and BTW

do you have money set aside for an alignment? if you don't your tires are gonna get mad murdered!!! I'd recommend you get one ASAP after lowering the car

For a normal alignment, I would just go to wheel works on Tully and King Rd. Those guys are more willing to do more of what a customer ask.

I'm trying to get an alignment maybe next week and ask if they can do -2 camber .5toe in the front and -1.5 camber 0toe in the rear.

Last time I went and tried to get it aligned it was....80bucks. them bastards said my car was too low and refused to do my s**t...BITCHES! made me waste 3hrs for their ass. but this was a different wheelwork.

I say you can go to the one I stated or the one on King Rd and aborn. also known as the Evergeen shop for wheelworks. next to the flower shop or plant shop.

San Jose-Evergreen [ Does a good job but only does things by the book so no "custom" specs for the alignment ]
2955 So King Rd
San Jose, CA 95122-1500
(408) 270-8400

San Jose -Tully [ These guys are willing to do what a customer ask and still do a good job ]
1905 Tully Road
San Jose, CA 95122-1844
(408) 258-7200

im in the market to get my car properly aligned for a moderate track though.
