Hey guys,

as my project made some progress lately I decided a make a new thread that will cover all the updates on my civic so I wouldn't have to create a new topic every time.

Let's start at the beginning when I bought it:

A few months later a woman in front of me decided to put in the wrong gear which made her stop immediately without brake lights. Here's the result:

Fortunatelly some spare parts happened to cross my way which we had use for.

Some time later: New (used but cheap) rims and Eibach springs.

Let's go ahead. New Magnaflow exhaust and seats (whitch turned out to be total crap. I returned them 2 months later)

This is how the car looked 2 years later with new rims and MS-Design lipkit. Looked faster than it was.

My favourite:

During winter 2007 i gave the car a complete workaround:

I bought a used EG9 (like EG6 but sedan. I guess the sedan was never sold with B16A2 in the US?)

... and cannibalized it...

Everything that I didn't need went to the junk yard

I took it apart to replace alle gaskets and bearings.

Look what I found... that was the reason for the motor to drink 1 litre of oil on 300 kilomters. :D

But with a new piston and everything else replaced the motor should be like new.

Yes man.... sexy.

During the winter months I started to install all the parts I had collected before:

Reconditoned Callipers:

Away with the old one...

Did I mention that there are more comfortable things to do than swapping a motor in a small garage in february?

But in the end the motor went where it was supposed to be:

Yellow Konis with Eibach springs... harrrr:

Last year:

This is the current state, technically the car is almost new.

Let's see what i did on the car by now:

Exterior:
- MSDesign body kit (no GRP sh*t)
- red/white taillights

Engine / Exhaust:
- B16A2 swapped from an EG9 and overhauled
- Invidia Catback G300

Brakes / Suspension:
- Eibach springs
- Yellow Konis
- 7x17 Dotz Daytona Rims
- 205/40/16 tyres
- EG9 VTI brake swap (callipers overhauled)
- Energy Suspension bushings

Interior:
- armrests and back shelf upholstered with red leather
- spoon shiftknob
- speedometer wit aluminium rings
- remote door locking with alarm system

Music:
- JVC headunit
- u-Dimension front system
- Carpower Wanted amp
- Hifonics Zeus subwoofer

I didn't include all the new spare parts I used like new clutch or brakes etc. If I listed them it would make me aware of the mony I've put into the car and I'm not in the mood to cry today. :D

The 4 door was pretty cool but i love my coupe much more. =) Moreover the sedan had too much rust and i didn't want to put too much work into it.
