BTW after my crappy chinese socket adapter snapped w/minimal pressure, I went n bought a crafstman socket w/mm extensions, what a diff. $20 well spent!

Is there any place that doesn't give you a hard time about alignments? Firestone even got pissy about me asking about pulling tires off my old wheels to put on the new wheels. "why are they bigger than the standard size?" "because they're aftermarket.. I'm not asking you to stretch the tire, just asking you to remount them on another set of wheels."

$80 to have the tires remounted and an alignment starts at $80 as well..

I don't really feel like going there though with their shitty attitude.. Just Tires gave me a hard time when I first lowered my car. Old f**ker rolled his eyes at me. I still remember my dad called to ask if I wanted him to drop me off something to eat while I waited and as soon as I told him about the guy, he drove over

My dad's awesome sometimes.

for sure dude, my brother and i were talking about alignements yesterday, and you really gota avoid shitty people. weather its sneaky shady people, or assholes like you talked to. my other friend went to pep boyz for alignment and he just wanted a quote. the dudes wanted to pop his hood open without even asking for permission. "we just want to see if you have enough coolant" they said.

im going to need an alignment too, i WAS thinking firestone, but your making me think twice, although thats where shane got his, and he's happy.

dude, did you ever find out how much o2 sensors cost? i want to replace mine, david told me around 40-80

I may try and call another Firestone I know of. I've been there and the people are cool, we'll find out if they're cool about a lowered honda lol

I wouldn't mind another Just Tires where most of the guys drive modified cars but they overcharge for modified ride height alignments IMO and it would be $100 for them to remount the tires.

find a place where the manager and the service team are friendly and can do good work. that's what it comes down to. hell, i get a discount if i'm short on cash. i'll tell him i'm $10-15 short and he'll just charge me less

Yup just try another firestone and ANY tire shop will not want to mount old tires on rims, it's some sort of liability.

I would just try location after location till i got someone cool.

The guy in springfield who did mine was cool and was a car buff so any time they feel like they're doing something special they take pride in it.

That's an ideal shop, but even they asked me if my tires were new or used.
