ill get pics when i get it home. lately every weekend a few friends and I have been driving on some backroads and tearing that s**t up, soo much fun and my hatch was amazing on them, well last night we went onto a road that i hadn't been on before, and I had gotten a little behind cuz i was waiting for someone else, so i was leading and a 90 degree left turn with a suggested speed of 15mpg came up suddenly and all i know is i was in the top of 2nd gear at wot, i came into the turn and everything felt fine but then i think the back end got a little too much on the shoulder and into some wet mud and grass and it went right off the road into a tree stump like 2ft in diameter. it hit directly on the right front wheel, breaking the wheel, my lower control arm is bent to s**t, upper control arm belt to s**t. axle broke. i took the axle out once i got it to a lighted parking lot and realized i could drive it, so i thought everything would be ok once i replaced all the suspension components. but as we were about to leave someone noticed that my passenger door didn't seem to be shut all the way, then we noticed that the roof was buckled. so at that point i decided it was over.
yea i really see no difference from a road track and this road, except the fact that i was a completely empty never used public road. and maybe the stump haha. and no lesson learned because the next car i build will go down the same road but this time I'll attempt to make it to the end. it was just a silly mistake, i took the turn way too wide and it has recently rained a bit so the side of the road was still a little wet and muddy.
