I am working on doing some major work on my car (EP3). I am going to be doing a full intake, header, and exhaust and moding the suspension and a few other parts. I want to get a good ECU setting done as well but i know NOTHING bout ecu tuning. Before anyone answers where to start, who to go with, etc. I also need to let you know that my car has 110k miles on it and it is running a bit rough at high rpm and even idle. Not too badly and it doesn't smoke, but the vibration is deffinitely there. Any suggestions on that? Or is it a rebuild kinda thing? I know I need new spark plugs but is that going to make a huge difference? Please note I am not a mechanic so speak to me as though a child :D Ok, well, maybe a really smart child that just doesn't know about what he wants and needs. btw my car is completely stock, no fi or anything.

give her a full tune plugs wires cap rotor oil change (1/2 bottle of lucas oil treament wouldent hurt n maybe a bottole of injector cleaner) also check out the timing belt make sure no cracks and all the teeth r good...110k is not bad for miles at all...mine just hit 115k and shes still running like new! and the mods ur doing r basic mods...when u say major mods thats more like turbo cams stuff like that
